Reading and Reference Rooms
- The library’s catalogue is available online.
Books in the Reading and Reference Rooms are on open shelves and available to members of the library. When you have finished with a book, please leave it on the desk. Only library staff may return the books to the shelves.
Multimedia materials
- (CDs, DVDs, etc.) are available as follows:
Monday, Tuesday and Friday:
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday:
9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
Books in our repository
- May be requested as follows:
Monday, Tuesday and Friday:
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday:
9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
You may also request books from the repository for the following day by sending an email to pro@pro.urbe.it
We will keep reserved books or books from the repository until Friday afternoon, after which they will be returned to the shelves or the repository.
To extend this period, please let us know.
Photocopies
- We have self-service photocopiers for you to use. They use pre-paid credit on your membership card. Photocopies cost € 0,05 per copy. The rules of the library and Italian copyright law must be respected.
Loans and inter-library loans
- We do not loan books or other materials.
Document delivery
- We will make and send copies to other libraries on request, if copyright law allows.
We do not make copies for individuals.
We are happy to answer your questions and help you when needed.
